The XLT (X-Press Lift Tool) has now been shown to thousands of participants on our 3 truck show road show. The Technology Maintenance Conference in Orlando, FL and Florida Trucking Shown in Ft Lauderdale, FL were both in February. Then onto Louisville, KY where the company, L2 Trucking Products, displayed this revolutionary product in March. Below is the booth in Louisville with brothers David and Glenn and its landing gear display proudly hosting the XLT Drill for all to use.
WHAT: The XLT (X-Press Lift Tool) is a specialty patented system that raises and lowers trailers. Works equally well on tractor/trailers, goose neck trailers and dump trailers. Even opens and closes grain hopper doors quickly and safely. No stress to backs, shoulders or arms saving 80% of the current time and energy being expended on this task. All fully portable as well.
WHY: Whether dealing with single, double, pups, full size, grain, goose neck or dump trailers – the connection process is laborious. Having to raise/lower trailers can easily strain your back, shoulder or arm. Eliminating this task saves both time and money and allows the end destination being reached sooner and safer with you being better rested.
HOW: A system has been created which consists of a high torque battery powered drill, a special coupler for connection to the landing gear crank shaft along with TEDs (torque elimination devices). The TEDs prevent torque from being transmitted to the XLT operator. SAFETY FIRST! Lightweight, size of a medium tool bag means it fits easily in a cab – including the battery charger and coupler. The XLT kit has it all and is ready to eliminate this task – totally.
